The Korean Computer Congress is organized every year by the Korean Institute of Information Scientists and Engineers (KIISE).
KIISE invited leading speakers from Germany, China and Korea to present about major trends in the IT industry at their 3-day event from June 29 to July 1.

In his speech, Jochen addressed not only the opportunities of Blockchain / Distributed Ledger technology, but also the challenges this new industry is facing.
As a very prominent example, he highlighted the DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) as a revolutionary concept running on an Ethereum blockchain, which is currently facing tough decisions after a major security issue has impacted its integrity.
